Ignacio García in the charity dinner of St. Lazarus in Marbella

On June 16, 2012 the Order of Saint Lazarus organized the Charitable Dinner in the Beach Club of the Hotel Villa Padierna of Marbella to get funds to help the organizations of charity that the Order helps.

Magnificently organized by the Encomienda of Andalusia of the Great Priory of Spain, more than two hundred persons took part in the dinner, with the Great Master, Marquess of Almazán, the Great Emeritus Master, Duke of Seville, the Coadjutor, don Francisco de Borbón and his sister doña Cristina, the Prior of Spain, Marquess of Armunia, the Chief of the Royal Household of Georgia and gentleman lazarista, SAIR David de Bagration and his wife the Princess Anna, the Count of Jordana, the Count of Robledo, the Marquise of Cortina, the Countess of Llovera, the Marquess of Valdecañas, the Duke of Huéscar, don Fernando de Borbón, and a lot of personalities of the high Andalusian society, and of the society of Marbella especially, as the well-known lawyer and member of the Order, don Francisco Guijarro with his wife Consuelo Primelles and his son Eduardo, and the international golf course architect, don Ignacio García Gómez and his elegant wife Anna Karpenko, among others, all of them attended for the own Commander of the Order, don Antonio de Fortuny and the treasurer, don Alfredo García Til.

The dinner was entertained by the soprano Sonia García and the tenor Fran García. Supported by the own Hotel Villa Padierna and other companies of prestige like Gonzalez Byass, Maximiliano Jabugo, Friends of the Music of Marbella and Florist Virginia carried out a raffle with donations of some of the personalities to collect funds, with a result of more than 25.000 Euros, which will be distributed among Cáritas Marbella, Hermanitas de los Pobres, and Sanatorium of Fontilles.

Before the dinner, the San Lázaro´s Golf Trophy was celebrated in the morning in Flamingos Golf Club.
