Award winning short film

The Twilight of the Idols, is the second short film shot on VHS by Ignacio García in Madrid. The film evokes the famous myth of the cave of Plato in a context determined by the architecture of the end of the century.

The short film was honored as a finalist in the video contest for young authors of Castilla-La Mancha in 1998, where Ignacio García participated under a pseudonym.

The movie was shown to the public for the first time in a cinema on 24 October 1998 on the occasion of the III displays of Independent Cinema and Fantastic in Toledo, Spain.

The film has been exposed on many occasions at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid and used by the Department of architectural projects of center as teaching material in the first doctoral course of cinema and architecture for architects, taught in Spain, under the direction of the architect, professor and filmmaker Luis Antonio Gutiérrez Cabrero.
