IGGA wins contest in Peru

Design of a residential Masterplan with a golf course on 392 hectares

The urban design offer with a golf course designed in Peruvian lands by the Spanish consulting firm founded and directed by Ignacio García, IGGA INTERNATIONAL Ignacio García Golf Arquitectura, has been selected as the winner of the international competition organized by a well-known Ecuadorian developer with real estate interests in Peru.

The ambitious urban design is located on an area of ​​3,920,000 sqm and 1,500 linear meters of beachfront located between “la Panamericana”, the longest highway in the world, and the Pacific Ocean, in the vicinity of the city of Lima, capital of Peru.

The proposal of the Spanish team, with 20 professionals led by Ignacio García, includes the design of a golf course, a hotel zone with 300 beds, a residential area of ​​tourist homes with golf and sea views, a shopping center, a beach club, a roundabout with a main access entrance for vehicles, interior roads, an artificial lake, an airfield with a landing strip and take-off for private jets, several heliports, and a sewage treatment plant.

The ecological golf course designed by the golf course architect Ignacio García has 18 holes, a practice area with putting green and approach area, test bunkers and a driving range with a golf academy. In addition, García adds to his offer the architectural design of an environmentally friendly golf clubhouse, a maintenance warehouse and golf machinery, a main access road to the golf course and several artificial lakes.

IGGA’s design services will have an execution period of 6 months and several phases: preliminary studies, preliminary project, communal area design, golf course design and production of an animated film that will present the image of the urbanization’s masterplan and the golf course.

The films made by IGGA INTERNATIONAL increase the promoter’s brand image, facilitate the commercialization of the project and provide the emotions that viewers need to interact with the project long before it is built.

Travel, transportation, accommodation and travel expenses for Ignacio García and his staff are foreseen for the correct provision of services.
