The design of the golf course is a sustainable model
Ignacio García, designer of modern and environmentally friendly golf courses, told the Mexican journalist Priscila Hernández Flores, winner of the King of Spain award in 2009, some of the keys that guarantee a golf course design that respects the environment and what are those processes to make a golf course a sustainable model. All this referred to the design of the first ecological golf course in Cuba in the last 60 years or more. A magnificent García design where golf is not associated with the island’s real estate development, but only promotes the practice of sport with the utmost respect for the environment.
